Zyprexa
Zyprexa is Eli Lilly’s trade name for any of a family of olanzapine formulations used as atypical antipsychotic drugs in the treatment of schizophrenia, anxiety, and other major mental illnesses. While effective in this role however, Zyprexa has been linked to a number of severe negative side effects, including the triggering of diabetes and other blood sugar level disorders.

The manufacturer of Zyprexa, Eli Lilly, found that 30% of patients taking Zyprexa gained 22 pounds or more in a single year after taking Zyprexa, with some patients gaining 100 pounds or more.
